- KG...while I agree with some of your statement, you are wrong about paying at the doctor. If you have a PPO based plan (PPO, HSA's, etc) you do not pay at the doctor. The doctor submits the claim to your provider, who then sends you a Explanation of Benefit (EOB).

- Willy...not to be picky, but no, the USA did not declare itself frr from "this family" over 200 years ago...check your history, and maybe you will get a better understanding why England and that family have more than a "little importance in today's world".

re your posting mentioning the sad state of affairs in America.Many Americans are truly spoiled and equate their happiness with more and more THINGS.
I've been guilty of consumptionism (A real word ?) but I've lowered my expectations to a sustainable level.I expect little or nothing for free, very little for a fee and nothing I cannot afford. The less you want the more you realize what you really need.
